Dr. Cyndi Koch


Cyndi Koch, Psy.D., founder and director of The Koch Center, has been a licensed psychologist working in the field for the past 35 years. She is intensively trained in DBT, has a specialty in eating disorders, and has further training in EMDR. Dr. Koch is a nationally recognized clinician, lecturer, trainer and supervisor. With an emphasis on excellence in clinical care coupled with the drive to stay abreast of new developments in the field, Dr. Koch has created the area’s premier center for the treatment of psychological and emotional issues.

DrCenteno2 Linda Centeno, Ph.D. is the assistant director of The Koch Center and is a licensed psychologist in New York and New Jersey. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University and has had extensive training at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital, where she completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowship in clinical psychology. Sofia Kondrashin, MD, received her medical degree from Moscow Academy of Medicine (Russia). She received training in Adult Psychiatry at Mount Sinai-North General Hospital and completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at NY Presbyterian-Cornell Westchester Division. Dr. Kondrashin has a wealth of experience in working with adolescents and adults with eating disorders and emotion dysregulation problems and is Board Certified in Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry. Martine Rizzo Levine, LCSW, is a psychotherapist with over 25 years if clinical experience. She has worked extensively in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings and has held clinical director/supervisory positions at eating disorder centers. She works with adults, adolescents and children, with expertise in individual and family psychotherapy. Her particular interests include working with individuals with anxiety and depression, as well as children, adolescents and families struggling with ADHD and other learning, behavioral and developmental issues. Kristen Greany Forman, LCSW, graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University and received her Masters degree in social work from Columbia University, graduating in the top 5% of her class. She completed her second year field placement at New York Presbyterian’s Eating Disorder Unit, gaining experience in individual, group and family therapy. Melanie Eckoff, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist with extensive experience working with trauma and co-occurring conditions including substance misuse. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The New School for Social Research in NYC. She completed an APA-accredited internship at the Brooklyn VA Hospital where she focused on working with veterans affected by PTSD and completed her post-doctoral fellowship at The Koch Center where she specialized in providing dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) with adults, adolescents and middle schoolers. Dr. Eckoff was also a supervising clinical psychologist at the Brooklyn VA Hospital where she offered DBT skills training to veterans to enhance their emotion regulation, distress tolerance and mindfulness skills and provided harm reduction-based psychotherapy to address their co-occurring substance use issues. In addition, she worked as a harm reduction therapist at the outpatient center in NYC and at a community-based outpatient clinic in Brooklyn providing psychotherapy and DBT skills training. JordanaScheinLeviJordana Schein-Levi, LCSW-R, is a therapist with 20 years of clinical experience. She completed her MSW at Yeshiva University and her MPA at NYU. Jordana received post-graduate training in family and marital therapy at the Ackerman Institute for the Family, NYC, and she holds a post-masters degree in Advanced Clinical Practice from NYU Silver School of Social Work. Prior to coming to The Koch Center, Jordana spent 18 years as a medical social worker at St. Luke’s Roosevelt and Mt. Sinai Hospital. She specializes in working with individuals, couples and families coping with mental and physical illness. In addition, Jordana presently teaches and advises graduate social work students at Columbia, Fordham, and Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Elaine DiMola, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist in New York and New Jersey. Dr. DiMola graduated with a doctoral degree in Psychology from Fordham University and has a Masters Degree in group process psychology. She is the former Supervising Senior Psychologist at Rockland Psychiatric Hospital and served as a member of the Hospital Forensic Committee. She is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and served as a DBT staff consultant and trainer at the hospital. At the Koch Center, Dr. DiMola has experience running DBT groups and providing individual DBT therapy. MichaelAtlasMichael Atlas, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, and families. He earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Argosy University, Washington D.C. and completed an APA accredited internship as a pediatric intern at Kennedy Krieger Hospital’s Child and Family Therapy clinic. Dr. Atlas also has extensive experience working in schools supporting students with ADHD and learning disabilities. He utilizes evidence based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy and family therapy to address a wide range of emotional and behavioral difficulties. His particular interests include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, executive dysfunction and parent-child conflict.

Jennifer has been intensively trained in DBT through the Columbia School of Social Work’s DBT training program, and completed her internship at Northwell Health-Long Island Jewish Zucker Hillside Hospital where she provided comprehensive DBT. She has experience in providing individual and group therapy to children, adults, and families. In addition, she has foundational training in CBT, and particular interests in working with children and adults with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, emotion dysregulation, and trauma.

Rebecca Kason, Psy.D., earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Long Island University. Nancy Feldman, RD, MS, is an experienced registered dietitian specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and eating issues. She provides individualized nutrition counseling for adults, children and adolescents. She holds a masters degree from New York University and has many years of experience working at hospitals and outpatient health/medical facilities. Dr. Sarah Tabbarah, Ph.D., received her doctorate from Palo Alto University. She has experience working with adults, adolescents and children.
